What You Will Learn
Successfully complete our casino dealing training course and learn about the local and state gambling laws and regulations, the rules, tools, and procedures of each game, and the proper processes and procedures for working as a dealer.
Hands On Training
Students need material presented differently and adjust to varying learning styles. Each instructor will give one on one training matched to their skill levels and learning syle.
Certificate Of Completion
Upon successful completion of the course and passed examination (audition), students will graduate with a Program Certification, a personal letter of recommendation.
Guaranteed Audition
Our Dealer School can lead to immediate employment opportunities with Guaranteed auditions at a local casino after graduation.
POK 201
Cash Games
Students will learn the flow of the cash game, standard formats and buy-ins, betting limits and structures, pushing in and out, starting and closing games. More specific situations include: missed blinds, posting blinds, seat changes, reserve buttons, etc. Hand recognition and clearing of hands will be reinforced.
POK 202
Tournaments
Students will learn the flow of the tournament, standard structures, buy-ins, payouts, and clock management. More specific situations include: Seating and starting tournaments, moving players and breaking tables, money bubble, hand-for-hand, final table, and chop scenarios. Hand recognition and clearing of hands will be reinforced.
CAS 101
Being a Casino Employee
Students will be introduced to the nuances of being a casino employee. A brief introduction to roles you may fill (floor supervisor, brush, cashier, list, etc.) Training will emphasize cash handling, hand clearing, and casino specific behaviors. Also addressed will be day to day expectations, scheduling, the “rotation”, Early Outs, etc.
CAS 102
Ethics/ Game Protection
Students will come to understand the link between ethical behavior and game protection and why both are important and necessary.
